Joan Seeley Pain Relief Memorial Trust

The Joan Seeley Pain Relief Memorial Trust (JSPRMT) Charity No.278697

There may be website visitors reading this who are not particularly familiar with the JSPRMT, however it is undoubtedly an extremely worthwhile Charity well deserving of any donations or support that you may be able to offer, albeit, individually or by organised fund raising events.
The charity was set up by Colin Seeley, a man of whom most of you will be familiar and a man well know and respected within the motorcycling fraternity, a real gentleman whom we are pleased to be able to call our friend.
Colin and close friends with the support of Consultant Anesthetist, the late, Dr Frances Sorrell, set up the trust after the death of his wife Joan Anne Seeley, in 1979, after she had suffered a long illness.

It is the Trusts strong belief in the importance of helping relieve the pain from those suffering from Cancer and other illnesses. The JSPRMT is undoubtedly a TRUE CHARITY TRUST, where every £1 collected is £1 spent on equipment, unlike many, the Trust has NO paid administration costs or officers!

The following hospitals and hospices are those who have, at the time of writing benefited by having received valuable pain relief equipment supplied by the Trust over the years.

Colin with Rossi CutoutIn 2015 whilst at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, Colin secured a personally signed, life size, Valentino Rossi display donated by Yamaha which, with the aid of his good friends at Bonhams successfully auctioned off at Mortons Stafford Bike Show in October (see photo) to help add to the money raised for equipment during the year for Rainbows Children’s and Young Peoples Hospice.

At the time of writing Colin and Eva, with the help of all of their good friends and colleagues have raised a tremendous amount of money through the JSPRMT and have, as a result, helped many hospitals and hospices bring pain relief to those less fortunate than ourselves.
It is our sincere privilege to have met, got to know, and be able to help Colin and his wife, Eva, (who we can assure you work tirelessly to help others) and to be a part of their fund raising efforts.
